  • ESPN STAR Sports Partners with Liveshare by Cooliris for ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

    United States: ESPN STAR Sports and Cooliris today announced a partnership that allows cricket fans to enjoy the excitement and energy of the 2011 ICC World Cup with a behind-the-scenes look at the event using LiveShare by Cooliris. LiveShare enables fans worldwide to follow ESPN STAR Sports’ official World Cup photo stream in real-time featuring exclusive and never-seen-before behind-the-cameras coverage of the event. Cricket fans will be able to experience the atmosphere of the matches at major venues and also share the live stream with their groups of friends via espnstar.com/cwcliveshare, Facebook, Twitter and email or create their own streams with the LiveShare application.

    ESPN STAR Sports is the first in Asia to allow their fans to experience the key highlights of the action around the sport as they happen with LiveShare application, developed by Cooliris in Silicon Valley. LiveShare is already used by major US entertainment brands to engage directly with fans, including Ozzy Osbourne, the Stanford Cardinal and Michael Bublé.

    The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup is being showcased across all media platforms – television, online, mobile – in more than 180 territories-.
