Of India Undertaking, Ministry of Textiles, ( CCIC) is organising exhibition / sale of Vibrant Linen, viz., Bed spreads & Table Linen,from across India to spruce you & your home from 23 to 31, July 2018 at our, M.G.Road, Showroom, Bangalore.
The exhibition inaugurated by Dr. Lily John, Professor of Medicine, Dialectologist & Endocrinologist.
The exhibition will showcase the best of Indian Handlooms which describes the country’s culture, heritage and diversity where every piece is unique since it involves an essential skill of the weaver. The display in Bed Spreads & Table Linen will feature the Jaipur prints in dabu, rapid & bagru prints from Rajasthan, hand woven cotton cutwork, Silk cushion covers from Banaras, cotton appliqué work bedspreads and cushion covers in off white / colours, chicken work from Lucknow and much more.
This exhibition is yet another step in the series of special displays being organized by CCIC to encourage the weavers and craftspersons to present their creations to the discerning buyers from the city and all parts of the globe.
