 Kokrajhar: With the objectives of market promotion of products by local self help groups, an exhibition cum sales of industrial products is being held at District Industries & Commerce Centres (DICC), Kokrajhar with four days programme beginning today.

BTC executive member Rajib Kumar Brahma today inaugurated the exhibition-cum-sale in presence of Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Partha Pratim Mazumdar and Superintendent of Police Rajen Singh and other dignitaries.

A range of tribal products is on display at the four days exhibition  including handicraft, cane & bamboo products, organic and natural products, metal crafts etc. Around 30 self help groups are participating in the exhibitions.

General Manager, DI&CC, Kokrajhar H D Das spoke about the objective of organizing the exhibition cum sales of industrial products with focus on promotion of local products to make in India elevate your brand as local market leader and to empower the self help group members, most of whom are women.  “We can popularize the products of the SHGs through such bazaars, he said.
