A BJP central source said that before the Monsoon session of the House, the sound of expansion of the Union Cabinet has started to be heard.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reviewing the work of his ministers.According to sources, the work of about two dozen ministers has been reviewed so far. Soon the work of reviewing the work of all the ministries will be completed. There are currently 60 ministers in the Modi government, while according to the constitution, their number can be up to 79. Many ministers have two to three ministries. By the way, Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps reviewing the work of various ministers and their ministries from time to time.

With some ministers having multiple ministries, the total number of colleagues in the Council of Ministers is 54.According to sources, the names of those who can be included in the future reshuffle and expansion of the Council of Ministers are former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, Baijayant Panda. In the expansion of this time, conditions can be created to include Janata Dal-U as well.

    There is not even a single cabinet minister from the BJP allies in the Modi government.Among the allies, Ramdas Athawale of the Republican Party is the only minister of state. In such a situation, some other allies can also be given space in expansion. According to sources, the first extension of the second term of the Modi government can be done by the end of this month or early next month.

He said that the party will definitely use Sonowal’s experience as a former Chief Minister and former Union Minister.
