Experience the cuisine of Colombo at the JW Marriott Bengaluru

This November, join us for a celebration of a beautiful island and its capital city Colombo through its cuisine with a menu curated by Priya Bala (city-based Chef and food critic from Sri Lanka)

Known for its fresh and preserved seafood, the cuisine offers some highly aromatic dishes with a delicate coconut base enjoyed best with varieties of rice.

At this pop-up, guests can experience a typical Thali from Colombo with appetizers like Banana flower Salad, Prawn cutlet, sweet potato cutlet besides the soft appams, the fluffy Idiyappams, the Yellow rice that can be enjoyed with the curried Crab, Coconut Sambol, Fish Curry, Pineapple Curry, Devilled Pork, Seeni Sambol, Cucumber Salad in the Non Veg Thali and dishes like the  Pumpkin Stew, Pickling style Brinjal, Raw Banana Curry, Curried Beetroot and other delicacies in the vegetarian Thali.

And to finish it all on a sweet note, there will be traditional desserts like the Watalappam, coconut pancake, yogurt & jaggery syrup.
