Fabelle Exquisite Chocolates Food Food Awards and South Chocolate Summit 2018 sets the standard

Bengaluru: Seeking to create a platform to recognise, discover and celebrate culinary talents in South of India, the recently concluded Fabelle FOODFOOD Awards and Summit 2018 south was starry affair. In Association with Marriott International and Media Partner BBC GoodFood, the FOODFOOD Awards travelled to three regions of India, North, West and now South on 21st September 2018, at JW Marriott Bengaluru. Nominations for the west edition included restaurants in five-star hotels and fine-dine standalone restaurants from Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.  Partnering with this award was, ON1Y – Gourmet Herbs & Spice Seasoning, Popular Essentials, Callebaut, Chivas Studio and Jaguar Land Rover.

Winners of the Jury Choice Awards were decided by the Grand Jury comprising India’s leading hoteliers, restaurateurs and chefs under the stewardship of Chairman of the Jury, Nakul Anand, Executive Director, ITC Ltd, and Esteemed Directors. The award has been mentored by Sanjeev Kapoor, Founder FoodFood TV and Publisher, BBCGoodFood India, and curated by Shafquat Ali, CEO, FoodFood TV & Events and CEO & Editor-in-Chief, BBC GoodFood India. Anurag Bhatnagar, Multi-Property VP, Mumbai & Goa, Marriott International, is the chief adviser.

Shafquat Ali, CEO and Editor-in-Chief BBC GOODFOOD and CEO FOODFOOD Awards and Events said “FoodFood Awards is a culinary night celebrating the gourmand!  After two successful award nights at Delhi (North) and Mumbai (West), it was now the turn of Bangalore (South) to show the rest of the country why we are increasingly being called a culinary paradise.

 The event was hosted by Chef Ranveer Brar, Chef Shazia Khan and Chef Rakesh Sethi. Renowned Chocolatier Zeba Kohli conducted a unique Fabelle Exquisite chocolate tasting experience. The FOODFOOD Awards will be traveling East of India on 28th of November to the Kolkata. The grand finale, where winners of all regions will compete with one and other will be taking place on the 19th of December at St. Regis, Mumbai.
