FIITJEE presents OSMOSIS 2011

New Delhi:  FIITJEE, the nation’s premier institute for IIT-JEE training, recently organized, in the capital, OSMOSIS 2011 – an Inter School Quiz Competition at NCUI Auditorium at August Kranti Marg.

OSMOSIS was organized with a motive to facilitate active knowledge sharing among the participating students. Participating in this quiz competition were more than 430 students from top and prestigious schools of Delhi & NCR such as Spring Dales (Dhaula Kuan), St Columbus School, Delhi Public School (Dwarka, Noida, R K Puram, Indirapuram, Vasant kunj), S R DAV (Dayanand Vihar), Amity International, Modern School (Barakhamba, Vasant Vihar), Amity Gurgaon Cambridge School, Mothers International, Bal Bharti, New Era Public School, St Paul’s, St Mary’s School, Mount Carmel, Anand Niketan, Manasthali, G D Gokenka, Tagore International School and many more.

The information gained and knowledge imparted at the quiz helped in broadening the analytical and reasoning skills of the students. The day-long competition was conducted across two segments viz. junior and senior. The former segment was meant for students of classes VIII & IX and the latter one was for classes X & XI. The quiz was conducted by a professional Quiz Master – Mr. Aditya Mubayi.

FIITJEE felicitated the senior group winners with Rs 10, 000 for winners – DPS Dwarka and Rs 6000 for runner ups – Spring – Dales. Winners of the junior group were awarded Rs. 8,000 (First Prize) – Amity International Saket and Rs. 4, 000 (Runner Up) – Modern School Barakhamba respectively. The best quizzer of the day from both senior and junior category i.e. Modern Vasant Vihar and Bal Bharti, Noida bagged the prize money worth Rs. 1000 respectively.
