People can opt donating digitally through Debit card or QR code
Hyderabad : Ganesh Chaturthi, one of India’s biggest festivals is always celebrated with much reverence, devotion and fanfare. As people welcome their beloved GanapatiBappa this year, Fino Payments Bank has found the perfect mascot to usher in prosperity through digital banking – Lord Ganesha himself!

The fintech bank for emerging India customers has installed idols of the deity at various Fino Hamesha banking points across the city. The deity holds an ATM Debit Card and Micro ATM device depicting an avatar that encourages people to use digital banking – a Banking Ganesha. The initiative will continue throughout from Ganesh Chaturthi to Visarjan during which time people visit pandals to pay their respects and take the Lord’s blessings.
Post-Covid Indians are adapting faster to digital banking said Biswajeet Sinha, Senior Divisional Head (South, Fino Payments Bank. “But there is still a huge segment of customers who have yet to try digital banking. We intend to encourage this segment take the first steps towards going digital by allowing them to make digital donations through QR code or debit card. The donations collected will be used by the Fino merchant for a good local cause.”

This initiative is a part of Fino’s endeavour to handhold customers in their digital adoption journey from assisted services to self-mode”, said Mohammad Inayathullah, Zonal Head (Telangana& Kerala), Fino Payments Bank.
At Fino points, customers can avail of services like new account opening, domestic money transfers, deposits, withdrawal through Micro ATM and Aadhaar enabled payment systems (AEPS), buy third party products such as health and life insurance, pay utility bills and loan EMIs.
