Firing is going on between unknown gunmen and security forces near US consulate in Pakistan ‘s northwest city of Peshawar, reported local Urdu TV channel Samaa on Saturday morning.

According to the report, the firing broke out at about 6:00 a.m. local time and is still going one. The military troops have surrounded the intelligence building near the US consulate that the gunmen have entered.

So far it is not known whether the gunmen planned to target at the intelligence building or the U.S. consulate.
