The 10th edition of the Spring flower show held on the grounds and in the greenhouses of the Castle of Groot-Bijgaarden will be from April 5th until May 5th 2013.

This exhibition, resolutely turned towards international markets, is attracting more and  more foreign tourists who visit our capital in the spring.

Like every year, over one million tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and grape hyacinths were planted under the old trees of the 14 hectares park of the castle and spring offers the exceptional display of nature’s revival. 400 varieties of tulips will be shown, some of which have not yet received a name.

You will discover a prestigious exhibition of floral arrangements and decorative plants in the greenhouses. More than 10,000 flowers from various flower markets in Europe are renewed each week.

During the four weeks in which the exhibition takes place, flower lovers will have the opportunity to discover 500 varieties including 400 tulip varieties, some of which have not yet received a name.

The chapel and the tower will surprise you with flowers.

Following the success of the last years, many birds and animals will awake again the children’s curiosity.

Tulips, orchids and other bulbs can be purchased at the entrance to the castle.
