Paras Free Camp Pic (1)The response that we have received is tremendous. Patients who have had long impending problems related to spine have come forward. According to Dr Arun Bhanot, Chief of Spine Services, “The response has been more than expected. The patients who are coming for consultation are more with chronic neck and spine problems. They are the patients who have visited a number of doctors and have not got relief due to some reason or the other. They are the patients who have spent considerable amount of money on their treatment put their efforts have been futile. We at Paras Hospitals aim at improving the state of these patients as our department specializes in treating acute cases.”

In cardiology also patients who have just gone through a cardiac procedure- cardiac surgery or a stenting procedure have availed the benefits of the offer. Mr Ashok Chand was a chronic smoker and recently underwent a cardiac surgery at another hospital in New Delhi, according to him, “I took this as an opportunity to check whether my present medication, diet and lifestyle is correct or not. Although I am following another doctor, however there is no harm to have a second opinion, after all it is my health and having compromised on the same earlier in life, I don’t want to make the same mistake.”

There were a number of patients who wanted fresh eyes and a second opinion on a prescribed procedure or an investigation. A patient who was prescribed angiography by another hospital availed the free consultation and consulted with Dr Kuldeep Arora, Sr. Consultant Interventional Cardiology, Paras Hospitals. He further availed the 20% off on the OPD investigations – TMT (treadmill test ) and other blood tests.

According Dr Manish Gunjan , Sr Consultant Interventional Cardiology, Paras Hospitals, “A number of patients who have consulted me during the free OPD sessions are genuine cardiac patients. They are patients who have been experiencing a number of cardiac issues from quite some time, however they have just been putting off their health problems. 80% of the patients have availed the discounted OPD investigations too.”

Highlighting the achievement of Paras Hospitals, Dr Tapan Ghose, Director & HOD Cardiology said that, “It is our endevour to provide the best service, treatment and diagnosis. With this initiative we have experienced an excellent response and we want to continue the same for a long time.”
