    Guwahati : Former Assam Director General of Police (DGP), Mukesh Sahay is in no mood to retire. After serving the state police force for 34-year, 1984 batch IPS officer Sahay is now busy playing the role of a Mathematics teacher. He is now imparting mathematics lessons to the higher secondary final year students at the Sonaram Higher Secondary School located at Bharalumukh in Guwahati.Sahay, who retired on April 30 this year, joined the school on May. He takes two maths classes daily. On the last day of his service as the Assam DGP, Sahay shared his interest to teach the students with the school principal.Last year, when Sahay visited the school, the principal told him that the school doesn’t have a mathematics teacher. It was then he decided to offer his service once he retires.Sahay is now popularly known as ‘Maths teacher’ among the faculty members and students.
