    Published on February 4, 2014

Mumbai : Describing MetricStream’s fast growth as “a disruptive force in the market”, Forrester Research, Inc. has cited MetricStream as a “Leader” in the report – “The Forrester Wave™: Governance, Risk, and Compliance Platforms, Q1 2014”, published on January 27, 2014. With its India headquarters at Bangalore, MetricStream is a market leader in enterprise-wide Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Quality Management Solutions for global corporations.

Rated on a scale of 0-5, MetricStream emerged as the top ranked vendor for “Current Offering” with the highest score of 4.79. This category includes the following evaluated criteria: Content Management, Risk and Control Management, Workflow Management, GRC Management and Analytics, Audit Management, GRC Breadth and Depth, Domain-Specific Support, and Technical functionality.

The report commented, “MetricStream is growing quickly and demonstrating impressive product enhancements. MetricStream’s vision is to embed GRC in the day-to-day functions of all employees, and its strategy reflects this broad vision by targeting a wide range of industries, users, and use cases.”

“We are very pleased to be cited as a leader by Forrester Research,” said Shellye Archambeau, CEO of MetricStream. “In our opinion, the report validates MetricStream’s unique product strategy built around our vision of Pervasive GRC. We believe Forrester affirms this vision as the direction of the market, as they indicate in their report that, organizations are pushing their GRC programs into the far reaches of business processes and initiatives. We deliver on this vision with our platform based approach and the comprehensive range of pre-packaged and flexible GRC apps that are increasingly being embedded in business operations, and can be accessed anytime, anywhere – in the cloud, on the web, on mobile devices, and in a highly collaborative and yet secure environment.”

The Forrester report states, “The MetricStream GRC platform provides high-level building blocks with reusable code libraries for customers, partners, or MetricStream staff to design and configure applications in line with specific GRC needs.”

According to the report, “For all the growth and maturity of the GRC platform market, it’s a segment that still eludes clear definitions and boundaries. Risk and compliance professionals are discovering new ways to leverage these technologies for greater efficiency and control, but now they face hard choices about how far to take them; what use cases they can support, whether to consolidate multiple applications into a single platform, and how to successfully roll out their program to build business success.”

“Bringing Business, IT, and Security together through our Platform, Apps, Zaplets, Content, Data Aggregation, Intelligence, and Analytics has been the cornerstone of our approach to the market. We believe that the report is an exceptionally strong validation from Forrester, highlighting the completeness of our offering, company strategy, and vision,” said Gaurav Kapoor, COO at MetricStream.

He continued, “For our customers, GRC adoption is a journey, not a one-time project. Customers that engage with us are seeing real value in MetricStream as a partner that helps them on this journey of getting a GRC strategy and technology solution in place, while also solving the immediate challenges that they may have, all through our best-of-breed applications. Setting up the right federated data model, aggregating information from across data sources, and managing GRC processes, while keeping deployments easy and systematic are integral parts of this process. Our deep focus on innovation and our commitment to delivering sustained value to customers are the reasons for the widespread adoption of MetricStream applications in large enterprises as well as mid-sized companies across the globe.”
