From Behaviour to Wellbeing – Book launch by Vinesh Sukumaran at Atta Galatta Sunday,18th Nov 2018

About the book:

It doesn’t matter what you’re trying to pursue in life; whether you’re trying to become a billionaire, keep your family happy, travel to 190 countries or win the Boston Marathon. What underlies any pursuit is wellbeing – the quest for happiness, better relationships, greater meaning and a life you love. From Behaviour to Wellbeing tells you exactly what behaviours and typical behaviour patterns will take you there. Learn what works really well for psychological wellbeing and the nuances of what it means to show up and be there for your body, mind and soul. There’s no way that you can wake up every single day at 5 in the morning, practice singing diligently for an hour and not get better at it after a year. It just doesn’t work that way. Also, understand some behaviour games that we play with others and particularly with ourselves, that take us away from exactly the things that we’re after in life. While well-being is what we might want for our parents, ourselves, our children and pretty much everyone else we care about, this book isn’t suggesting that life is only about wellbeing. So, what’s beyond wellbeing? What might you trade your wellbeing for? What makes life worthwhile and why is it really worth living? And finally, what are a few things that you can start doing right away to achieve that state called “Bliss Without Baggage.”
