  • From Having Financial Issues During Childhood Days To Now Helping Others, Social Worker Vishal Dilip Bhujpal Sets A Great Example Of Kindness & Compassion

    It is rightly said that ‘The happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others. One such prominent example is Vishal Dilip Bhujbal, a 34-year-old social worker from Maharashtra. His social work activities will inspire people of any age to help others.  Years ago, Vishal decided to devote his life to making others happy years and has been doing the same event at present.

    Vishal Dilip Bhujbal belongs to a middle-class family from Pune’s Narayangaon village in the Junnar district. His dad is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. Vishal completed his Agriculture Business Management degree from the Padma Shri Dr D.Y. Patil Agriculture Business Management, Akurdi which is affiliated with the Mahatma Phule Agriculture University of Rahuri in Ahmednagar district.

    Today Vishal is helping others with food, clothing and other basic amenities. However, there was a time when he himself had struggled in life. During his teenage days, his family suffered due to a bad financial situation. At that time, Vishal decided to help his father and his family by selling tea and taking borrowing loan for his education. Vishal’s brother Vaibhav also made a lot of sacrifices for him. Vaibhav didn’t complete his education; but he encouraged Vishal to pursue his degree. It can be rightly said that kindness and compassion are instilled in Vishal Dilip Bhujbal from childhood.

    Everyone has an inspiration in life that pushes them to do better. Some people get inspired by a quote, a book or a person. The same was the case with Vishal who was motivated by the social work of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj. Vishal Dilip Bhujbal works day and night to solve the problems of people from villages to cities. He does the cremation of unclaimed bodies through the medium of Suryoday Parivar. Vishal is also one of the strongest voices in the cleanliness drive for the Godavari and Narmada rivers.

    Vishal Dilip Bhujbal’s social work helped him build a strong reputation which helped him make connections in different parts of the state. With the help of his wife Priya, son Shaurya and other social workers like him, he helps poor people. He has been providing help to HIV AIDS diagnosed children at Khamgaon. Vishal adopts 100 girls every year and takes responsibility for their upbringing and education. The rest of his social work undertakings include personality development program, rural development project, career guidance meets, blood donation camps, distribution of educational material to school children, distribution of seeds and fertilizers to ryots and peasants, conducting constitution awareness campaigns, water resource works in Osmanabad, mass marriages of poor and distressed youths in various districts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

    All of this hard work helped Vishal Dilip Bhujbal getting honoured as the ‘Youth Icon’ by the Union Minister of State For Human Resource Development Hon. Shree Sanjayaji Dhotre. With his social work, Vishal wants to encourage today’s youth to help others in any big or small ways they can. He also wants to emphasize on basic amenities like health, education, food, shelter in the coming years. In the coming time, he will also work on issues that will help in the empowerment and safety of women.

    In his social service journey, Vishal has faced a lot of challenges. But his zeal to make other people’s life and society better drive him to keep going on. He has also worked with celebrated social workers like Sindhutai Sapkal, Medha Patkar, and Anna Hazare to name a few. By seeing how they never stop doing the good work, he wants to keep going on too. Vishal has a message for today’s youth where he wants them to indulge in helping others. The social worker says, “‘Today’s youth should come forward and together, they should help in doing social work, collectively. Their contribution will help in the development of the society and ultimately, the nation.”

    Vishal Dilip Bhujbal has shown us that no matter what your background or financial status is, we all have enough to help others.
