From humble beginnings to Bollywood dreams, here’s how Shibangs Chakraborty made his entry into the music world!

Shibangs Chakraborty, is an Indian music producer/composer and percussionist born on the banks of the river Brahmaputra, Guwahati (Assam). After shifting to Mumbai at a very tender age to pursue his dreams of building a career in music, he learned Carnatic percussion from Grammy from the family of an Award-winning personality, Vidyan Vikku Vinayakram, Hindustani percussion from Pandit Tanmoy Bose, Arabian and African percussion from UAE.

So far in his musical journey, he has been a part of various Bollywood films such as ‘Bypass Road’starring Neil Nitish Mukesh, Netflix originals ‘Kaali Kuhi’, Oscar-nominated film ‘Kalira Atita’, Hotstar Series Grahan’, ‘Bell Bottom’, Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Toolsidas Junior’ starring Sanjay Dutt, series ‘Death Warrant – Into the woods’, Shantanu Moitra’s Prem Tame, TV commercials for brands like Fanta, Real Juice, Dabur, Luminous Batteries, Ashirbad Atta, Bata shoes, Nestle, Good Knight and promos for serials such as Sargam Ki Sade Satti, Kyu Utthe Dil Chod Aaya, Kartik Purnima, Meri Gudiya. Since childhood, he had a keen interest and had been ardently devoted to music. His euphonious talent and immense support from his family bore fruit in his musical career.
