FUJIFILM India, a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare facilities today announced the expansion of its endoscopy solutions portfolio by launching the ClutchCutter and FushKnife. The products were unveiled at the 63rd Annual Conference of Indian Society of Gastroenterology-ISGCON, Jaipur.
The three-in-one device, ClutchCutter is a rotatable forceps that supports clinicians in making incisions, dissections and coagulation. Built for the most rigorous procedures, ClutchCutter features jagged, serrated jaws for enhanced clutching ability and an insulated outer edge for maximum durability. Where else the FlushKnife is a diathermic slitter that allows clinicians to carry out multiple applications including marking, flushing, incision, dissection and coagulation. Product features include a ball tip option with excellent traction, enabling dissection of the target tissue and effective coagulation. The newly launched products are Fujifilm patented products for ESD and EMR procedures and are designed for use with compatible endoscopes, these devices aid clinicians in performing effective endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) interventions within the digestive tract.
The products were launched in the presence of Mr. Kohei Aiba, Senior Manager, Bio CDMO Div., FUJIFILM Asia, Mr. Dheeraj Chaudhri, Head of Endoscopy Division, Endoscopy Systems Division , FUJIFILM India and Mr. Tomosuke Okada, Japanese Advisor, Endoscopy Systems Division, FUJIFILM India . Additionally, the company also organised a symposium with Dr. Hironori Yamamoto, MD, PhD, Division of Gastroenterology around the tips and tricks of ESD-EMR along with a hands-on workshop on ERCP, ESD & EUS procedures from experienced faculties.
