Hyderabad : Gemini Edibles and Fats India Pvt Ltd as a part of their CSR initiative They have procured and installed RO water plants to provide clean and safe drinking water to the villages of Utla Balija Palem & Kodela Mitte of Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh.

The Water RO plants were inaugurated by Mr. Kakani Govardhan Reddy, MLA, Nellore District in the presence of Mr. Srinivas Rao, Vice President, Commercial, along with other members of Gemini Edibles and Fats India Pvt Ltd, the Sarpanch of the villages and other dignitaries.

The RO plant can purify and dispense 1000 litres of water every hour and would provide potable safe water to people residing in the two villages. The day-to-day operations and maintenance of the RO plant will be managed by members of the Gram Panchayat.

Speaking at the inauguration, said, Mr. Srinivas Rao, Vice President, Commercial, Gemini Edibles and Fats India Pvt Ltd “As a part of our CSR initiative, we are donating 2 Water RO plants to villages Utla Balija Palem & Kodela Mitte of Nellore District. We are happy to contribute towards providing clean and safe drinking water to people. We are also joining the local administration in spreading awareness about the importance of clean drinking water to the people.”
