    This Diwali, Amul has introduced new products and packs to facilitate tastier and more convenient modes of hospitality and gifting. For guests at home, there are the ready to eat Gulab Jamuns that simply need to be heated before they are served or the innovative Utsav Ice Cream packs available in the Pista Dhamaal & Kesar Kamaal and Festive Fusion (an assortment of four popular flavours). And for gifting, the Rejoice assorted chocolates or the Gulab Jamun festive pack are the ideal options. Everything to ensure that being the perfect host or guest is complemented with “taste and purity”.

    True to their promise of “serving the interest of consumers by providing quality products which are good value for money” Amul has ensured that “taste and purity” is affordable to one and all. The Utsav Ice Creams truly freeze the prices. The Pista Dhamaal and Kesar Kamal flavours are available in packs of 12 and 24 pieces for Rs. 120/-. The Festive fusion pack freezes it further at only Rs. 100/-. The prices for the others too are simply mouth watering. The Gulab Jamun 2 kg festive pack is available for Rs. 260/- whereas the 186g pack of Rejoice assorted chocolates is priced at Rs. 100/- only.

    These products have been introduced across all markets in India at the launch meetings held last week for Amul’s distributors and retailers. Supported by aggressive mass media communications, there will be advertisements across leading national and regional dailies, television channels and radio stations.

    The products will be marketed by Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd., India’s largest food products marketing organization. The apex body of 3 million milk producers of Gujarat is all set to change the festive mood in the country.
