She made her mark at Scope in Miami, one of America’s largest contemporary art fairs with the renowned Vogelsang Gallery. She is one of the few female artists to have displayed her artwork around the world in such a short timespan. This artistic prodigy has escaped all the shackles of patriarchal projections of the art industry of art and it is a matter of pride to of pride to announce her participation in a fair as prestigious as the Market Art + Design at the ever so magnificent Bridgehampton Museum.
Gandhi‘s works were selected by the curatorial team at Market Art + Design. She is displaying a photograph from her series, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Fairy Lights and Rogue Atoms and a mixed media artwork from the series, Agamemnon’s Reverie.
The artwork aims to capture the fickle nature of fantasies and reveries we so often deem as reality and is inspired from the Trojan War in the Iliad by Homer.
