Global Learning Charter Public School Announces Rachel Lambauer as 504 Coordinator

NEW BEDFORD, MA … Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS), a tuition-free public charter school that currently serves 500 students in grades 5-12, recently announced that Rachel Lambauer has joined the professional staff as a 504 Coordinator.

A resident of Westport, MA Lambauer will coordinate the support system ensuring equal educational opportunity for all students, which is accomplished by providing appropriate classroom accommodation to eligible students. She will work with teachers, parents and students in grades 5 through 12.

Prior to joining GLCPS Lambauer was an inclusion kindergarten teacher for 10 years in the Westport School System and prior to that was an Early Childhood Educator in her hometown of  Taunton. She earned her bachelor and graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education with special education and disabilities at Bridgewater State University. She holds a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement and is a member of the school’s Parents Advisory Council. In addition she is a foster parent.
