Gold climbed 275 rupees, to touch a new record high of 22,470 rupees per ten grams at Delhi’s bullion market, lifted by a rally in the global markets, and brisk buying by stockists and jewellers for the upcoming ‘Akshaya Tritiya’ and marriage season. Silver surged 3,400 rupees, to 72,000 rupees per kilo.
