Rising for the third straight session, gold gained 75 rupees, to 27,190 rupees per ten grams at Delhi’s bullion market, today, on persistent buying by stockists and investors, driven by a rising global trend. Silver added 700 rupees, to 54,600 rupees per kilo.
In London, gold gained over 13 dollars, to 1,675 dollars an ounce, after concerns over Europe’s debt woes spurred demand for the precious metal. Silver rose 0.9 per cent, to 32.35 dollars an ounce.
