Gold prices rise Rs. 290 per 10 gram at MCX for May contracts

Gold prices today rose Rs. 290 per 10 gram at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts.
Gold futures were trading around Rs. 46,650 per ten gram.
Silver futures also gained Rs. 500 to trade at around Rs. 67,130 per kilogram for May contracts.
In global markets, gold was trading at 1,750 dollars and 10 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange while silver was trading at 25 dollars and 50 cents per ounce.
