Goldman Sach’s upgradation push up sensex by 165 pts

Mumbai : The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 165 points, or 1 percent, to 17,362 on Friday after investment bank, Goldman Sach’s upgraded Indian equities. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 50 points, or 1 percent, to 5,278. However, stock markets in Japan, China, and Hong Kong lost about 1 percent, each, on concerns about a slowdown in the global economy.
