Govt to bring in more provisions to regulate operation of drones

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that government will bring in more provisions to regulate the operation of drones, especially in no-go areas.

Replying to supplementaries in the Rajya Sabha, Mr Puri said the government has already introduced Civil Aviation Regulation in 2018 and in the coming months, it will bring in more regulations for the operation of drones.

The Minister said the government is aware of the kind of security threats that drones can pose.
