    GrapeCity Announces ActiveAnalysis 2 for OLAP

    United States : GrapeCity PowerTools has announced the availability of ActiveAnalysis 2, one of the first freeform OLAP, data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) component for Microsoft Silverlight, Windows Forms, and Microsoft ASP.NET.

    Designed for Silverlight 4, the latest version allows developers to rapidly embed cross-browser data visualization and business intelligence features into their applications.

    Another significant new feature is the support for exporting the onscreen data to Microsoft Excel-compatible format that allows end users to share, archive and analyze the data offline.

    ActiveAnalysis benefits include:

    Charts, pivot tables and data visualization in one programmable control.

    Rich drag-and-drop user experience encourages self-discovery of data.

    Excel export allows users to share analysis results offline.

    Native support for Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and custom intelligent MDX queries.
