  • Trivandrum : GTech, a consortium of IT companies, recognises and honors the teachers of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. GTech selected the best teachers by evaluating the video classes submitted by the educators on the selected subjects. Over 100 educators participated in the competition, which was conducted as part of GTech’s campus initiative, 𝝁Learn. KTU Vice Chancellor Dr. M. S. Rajasree declared the winners of the very first competition which was initiated on teachers day of 2021.

    “GTech was founded for companies and the IT sector to open up huge opportunities for students and teachers”, says Dr. M. S. Rajsree. She added, “this competition also led to the recognition of the need for teachers and teaching to change with the times and job opportunities.” Tony Varghese, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Anuroop K B, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology and Divya Mohanan, MES College of Engineering secured first, second and third places respectively.

    Sreekumar V, Centre Head, Tata Elxsi & Secretary, GTech presided over the event that was held in Technopark Travancore Hall. Deepu S Nath, Managing Director, Faya Innovations & Convener, GTech ATFG, Dr. Arun Surendran, Principal of Trinity College of Engineering, Dr. Jamuna B.S , Syndicate Member, APJAKTU, Adv. I Saju, Syndicate Member, APJAKTU, Richard Antony, Director, Ernst & Young & Vice Chairman, GTech, Abel George, Enabler Coordinator, GTech ATFG and Renjith R, Enabler Coordinator, GTech ATFG delivered facilitation.

    Vishnu V Nair, CEO, GTech welcomed and GTech Treasurer Manoj B Dethan gave vote of thanks.
