Haflong : Manish Thakur, IAS Commissioner HAD, reviewed the development works and activities of various departments under North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council at the Haflong Circuit House on Saturday.

The commissioner arrived Haflong today for the first leg of his maiden visit to Dima Hasao after taking the charge as the commissioner of Hills Area Development department. Various departments presented the current state of development works and challenges faced while implementation of works. Discussions were made in brief regarding functions and activities, new schemes undertaken and works in progress.

As informed the commissioner will go on a field visit tomorrow. The review meeting was attended by NCHAC Principal Secretary, Lalneizovi Nampui, ACS, NCHAC Secretaries, Thai Tso Daulagupu, ACS, Rebecca Changsan, ACS, Jt. Secy Megonjoy Thaosen, ACS, and Chief Conservator of Forest M.Tungnung, IFS and other Heads of the departments.
