Harley Davidson India was represented by Anoop Prakash, MD, Harley India and Snajay Tripathi, Director-Marketing of the Harley’s India Arm.
Overwhelmed with the experience, Mr. Prakash said that the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was one of the most celebrated biker events in the world, combining scenic and challenging riding routes, bike demos and displays, rock shows and festivities and the feeling of camaraderie among the thousands of Harley riders is unmatched. Anoop covered over 2,500 miles on the 2010 Harley-Davidson Road King.
Sanjay Tripathi while waving the tri-color while riding across on the Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide, worded his experience by saying that Harley-Davidson India’s debut at this rally marks an important milestone for us. The ride along the great American expressways, the breathtaking views of the Badlands, the twists and turns in the Black Hills were all enthralling, to say the least.
Total number of attendees for this year’s rally was estimated as high as seven lakh throughout the week. Harley-Davidson India launched its operations in August 2009 offering 12 models from their 2010 lineup.
