Indian National Lok Dal today released its party manifesto at Chandigarh promising loan waiver for farmers and small traders upto 10 lakh rupees, crop prices for farmers as per recommendation of Swaminathan Commission, free power to farm sector for tubewells and slew of benefits to other sections of the society.
The manifesto was released by party President Birbal Das Dhalia. Party has also promised to bring the state’s share of river water after the construction of the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal and reviving the Dadupur-Nalvi canal project, which was scrapped by the BJP-led government.
The manifesto also promises 15,000 rupees unemployment allowance, 5,000 rupees per month Old Age Pension (Budapa Samman Pension), Abrogation of GST on Tractors, agricultural equipments and fertilizers. The party has also promised slew of benefits to women, employees, ad-hoc and contractual employees etc.
