  • HHV bags “Star Performer” award from EEPC India for the fourth year in a row

    Bengaluru : Bengaluru based Hind High Vacuum Co. Pvt. Ltd. (HHV), a vacuum science and technology Company with major clients like HAL, ISRO, BARC, Titan etc, has announced that it has bagged the prestigious ‘Star Performer’ award from Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC India) for the year 2016-2017. This award, for meritorious high tech export performance in the southern region, has been won by HHV for the fourth consecutive year.

    The award was received by Prasanth Sakhamuri, Managing Director of HHV from Shri Banwarilal Purohit , Governor of Tamil Nadu, at an awards function organised by EEPC India at  Chennai recently.

    EEPC India is the premier trade and investment promotion organization in India. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and caters to the Indian engineering sector. As an advisory body EEPC actively contributes to the export policies of the Government of India and acts as an interface between the engineering industry and the government. Set up in 1955, EEPC India now has a membership base of over 13,000 out of whom 60% are SMEs.

    “We are extremely pleased to bag this prestigious award for the fourth year in a row. HHV is currently the largest exporter of UV reflectors for the printing industry worldwide. UV reflectors are also used for optical fiber manufacturing and coloring.” said Prasanth Sakhamuri. “Tribological coated components to measure viscosity were part of the extensive range of products exported by HHV in 2016-2017. HHV’s other exports are high technology items such as diffusion pumps, thin film coating equipment and vacuum furnaces, which are exported to Australia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and South East Asia.”

    Established in 1965 at Bangalore as a specialized enterprise to develop Indian self-reliance in high vacuum technology, HHV today serves a spectrum of Industries and R&D centres covering aerospace, atomic energy, defence, automotive, semi-conductors, electrical, horology, scientific instrumentation, decorative, food processing to name a few. HHV has an advanced research and manufacturing program in thin film technology, material science, metallurgy, astronomy, and special purpose machinery.
