MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton Hotels & Resorts, a leader in family travel around the world, today announces Hilton Mom Voyage, a family travel website that will launch in January 2013 featuring 15 moms sharing real travel content based on their own Hilton vacation experiences. The nationwide search by the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide begins today viawww.HiltonMomVoyage.com and continues through September 25, 2012. The interactive program also considers dads who love traveling with their families.
“Our research shows that moms play an integral role in the family vacation planning process. Creating a forum for moms and dads to share family travel insights and experiences directly with our future guests will help travelers navigate our resort and leisure portfolio to find the properties that best meet the experiences they want to share during the valuable time families spend together,” said Bonnie Campagnuolo, senior director – global brand marketing, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
Hilton Mom Voyage panelists will share their family travel experiences for 18 months on the dedicated website, which will also encourage other moms and dads to seek travel advice by asking questions of the panel and sharing their own experiences. Once selected in October, each mom will be sent on a five-night, all-expenses-paid family vacation to a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property that suits the family’s travel style, in addition to receiving other benefits that include Hilton HHonors Diamond Elite status, five Be My Guest certificates for single-night stays wherever they wish, and more.
Hilton Mom Voyage will be introduced as follows:
Applicants will share information about themselves and their families, as well as complete five essay questions about their travel style and written personality. Chosen panelists will have at least one child between the ages of four and 12 and be a legal U.S. resident. They will have a passion for traveling with their families, possess strong writing skills and storytelling ability, and be available to attend an expenses-paid training session on October 22 in McLean, Va.
