  • Hilton Worldwide Announces Signing Of Istanbul’s Largest Hotel & Conference Center

    ISTANBUL, Turkey – Hilton Worldwide today announced the signing of a management agreement with IC Bomonti Uluslararasi Kongre Turizm Yatirimlari Ticaret A.Ş to open an upper upscale Hilton hotel and conference center in Istanbul’s Sisli district.The property will be adjacent to the former Bomonti Beer Factory, an iconic building of significant heritage in the city center, which is currently undergoing restoration to become the focal point of a new visitor hub with extensive entertainment, dining and retail facilities; as well as a museum and arts center.

    This latest Turkish hotel signing adds to the significant momentum achieved by Hilton Worldwide in Istanbul, which now features six hotels across four brands, including the historic Hilton Istanbul which opened its doors in 1955 and the luxury Conrad Istanbul which is currently undergoing an extensive programme of refurbishment.

Our pipeline in Turkey goes from strength to strength, with 41 hotels either trading or under development, and this latest announcement is testament to Hilton Worldwide’s strong presence in a country we have been proudly operating in since 1955.”

    The hotel and conference center will be located in a striking newly built tower, spanning 35 floors and offering spectacular views across the European side to Asia. Located approximately three kilometres from Taksim Square, Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center will be an ideal base for both corporate guests as well as the significant numbers of tourists visiting the city for its wealth of history, culture, art and entertainment.

    Featuring 829 bedrooms and suites, guests will be able to enjoy the upscale facilities of the executive lounge, as well as spa and fitness facilities including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. A number of boutique stores will also feature in the hotel as well as iconic destination food and beverage options including an all day dining restaurant, lobby bar and spectacular roof top bar – set to become a destination for locals and guests alike. The highly regarded hospitality designer, GA Design of London, will be charged with providing and delivering the vision and design of the hotel’s interior.

    Turkey is a strategic development market for Hilton Worldwide and the fast paced growth has seen multiple brand openings in the last few years, with new additions for growth brands including DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton. Hilton Worldwide recently opened its first dual branded property in Turkey, Hilton Bursa Hotel & Convention Center and Hampton by Hilton Bursa, as well as Hampton by Hilton Ordu marking the growing presence of its economy brand in regional locations.
