In Himachal Pradesh, a low-intensity earthquake of magnitude 3.5 struck Kangra district at 7:35 am today.
Director, Shimla Meteorological Centre, Manmohan Singh, said the epicentre of the earthquake was north of Dharamshala town at a depth of five kilometres.
He said, mild tremors were felt in areas across the district. No loss of life or property has been reported.
