Dehradoon: Himgiri Zee University (Dehradoon), established under HZU Act 2003 by Taleem Foundation announced the start of its admissions for various courses for the academic session 2015. Mr Abhishek Asthana, Vice- Chancellor-HZU, made the announcement.
HZU is one of the initiatives by Zee Group to offer quality higher education in the state of Uttarakhnad. The University is now inviting admission applications for its 2015-16 undergraduate, postgraduate & Diploma doctoral programs across the Faculty of Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical and Civil), Faculty of Expressive Culture, Media & Communications (Bachelor in Journalism & Mass Communications, 5 yr Integrated Course in Mass Communications, M.A in Mass Communication, Diploma in TV Production, Ph.D in Media Management), Faculty of Agriculture & Forestry (B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Agriculture and Faculty of Social Work & Management (Masters in Social Work, MBA- Media Management, Business Administration, Ph.D in Management) along with other courses.
