Gurgaon: HSIL Limited, the group behind India’s leading sanitaryware brand Hindware, has made yet another achievement with its products ‘Aquafree’ and ‘Nano’ being honoured with the CII GBC ‘Most Innovative Water Saving Products’ award at the 7th edition of the prestigious ‘CII GBC National Award for Excellence in Water Management 2010’.

These awards were organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry with Godrej GBC at the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre in Hyderabad. The objective of this annual award scheme is to provide national recognition for commitment towards water conservation and facilitate sharing of information by excellent water efficient companies.

Nano Water Closet, the most recent eco-friendly offering from Hindware, comes with an unmatched comfort design and unique foot-press flush mechanism that makes for a germ-free operation. By using only 1.5 litres of water per flush, Nano promises to save thousands of litres of water per annum. This product is targeted for residential and commercial complexes.

Aquafree Urinal is one of Hindware’s innovative eco-friendly products. It is first of its kind waterless urinal in India which uses a revolutionary non-liquid cartridge technology, thus making it a 100% water saving model. This not only vast quantities of water annually but also reduces substantial costs for a building by significantly reducing the number of plumbing fixtures required.
