Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent content, today released Joelene Dove’s new album, ‘Maazi’. Maazi features Joelene’s latest single ‘Tukda – Tukda’, along with the single, ‘Maazi’ and Joelene’s popular tracks such as Savera, Ai Zindagi, Waqt and Tu Hi Bata, recreated with fresh sounds and arrangements.  The album also consists of two music videos, one each for Tukda – Tukda and Maazi, featuring Joelene in her most authentic self. The album is a manifestation of Joelene’s inner self and emotions and will be available for streaming across Hungama Artist Aloud and its partner platforms.

Maazi, which means past, is Joelene’s ode to the art of music and the peace that it has brought in her life. A singer, music producer, composer and lyricist, Joelene wears many hats and aces as an all-round musician. An avid listener of pop and rock music, Joelene grew up listening to Hindi and Urdu poetry that aided her in imbibing the best of both the worlds in her music. It is the amalgamation of two different worlds that aids her in creating fresh, soulful and meaningful music.

Joelene Dove has been a recipient of the ‘Hungama Artist Aloud’ Best Female Artist Award – 2010 for her single ‘Savera’, which she penned, composed and sang.

Currently, Joelene is the Director at ‘The Music Monk’  – an organization dedicated to the nurturing and service of Arts – providing Arts training to students, teacher training, mentoring, and arts administration and consultation to educational institutions all over India.
