Leading the Independence Day celebrations for the 9th time from the ramparts of the historic Red Fort in the national capital of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the momentous occasion by beginning his speech on the note of congratulating the nation on the completion of 75 glorious years of Independence. Prime Minister stated, “It is a historic day for India to step towards a new direction with a new resolve.”
