  • “I wish someday, there will be a Bigg Boss show for the differently-abled in India”: Arshi Khan speaks up on World Disability Day

    Published on December 4, 2020

Mumbai: On World Disability Day, December 3,  Bigg Boss 11 finalist and now Bigg Boss 14 challenger Arshi Khan extended her love and greetings to all “differently-abled stars” in India and abroad.

Every-year on World Disability Day, I would visit the differently-abled and goof around with them. We would have a meal together and play some games.

I have enjoyed playing Wheel-chair cricket with the wheel-chair cricket players in Mumbai. They are such an enthusiastic and talented lot.

Today because I am about to enter the Bigg Boss house and because I am under the mandatory quarantine and unable to visit anyone or speak to anyone, I am wishing all the differently abled people in India and abroad ‘all the best’ and sending my love to them.

“I hope you guys will watch me on Bigg Boss season 14 on Colors and vote for me when the time comes, she said, conveying her thoughts and feelings to this journalist, to be further conveyed to all those belonging to the differently-abled segment of society.

I have interacted with differently-abled sportspersons and actors. I wish someday, there will be a Bigg Boss show for the differently-abled, Arshi Khan opined.

She particularly remembered a dance expert Vinod Thakur who happens to be a great Salman Khan fan and who is also admired by the Bigg Boss host for his great dance moves, in spite of being differently abled.

When I am out of Bigg Boss, we will have a cricket match together,” Arshi Khan promised all her differently-abled friends.
