New Delhi: A medium-intensity Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast shattered Gandhi Avenue, the main commercial hub of Imphal this morning. Police said, there was no casualty, though the blast damaged some buildings and vehicle parked nearby.
Security forces were rushed to the incident site. Vigil has been intensified in view of the Ningol Chakkouba and Deepawali festivals.
