New Delhi :New Delhi witnessed the annual convocation ceremony of IILM Undergraduate Business School-a leading management institute, on the 9th of November. IILM has come a long way since the induction of its first batch in 1996, since then the institute has seen 11 glorious graduation ceremonies with over 950 students graduating with flying colors as the collaboration gets into its 15th year of successful partnership. This year 126 students received this degree from IILM UBS.

Welcoming the esteemed guests, an elated, Ms. Sapna Popli, Director & Executive Dean, IILM Institute of Higher Education said, “Our Vision 2015 is to be a leader in value based education and business focused research. Our focus is ‘The Student’. Our endeavor is to provide exceptional student experience based on creative and inspirational teaching, knowledge and skills valued by the industry, research that flows into teaching and learning and proactive employer engagement in the region.

Ms. Popli also mentioned that the degree awarded by University of Bradford in collaboration with IILM UBS received a formal status of equivalence with the undergraduate degrees awarded by the University of Delhi for the purpose of admission to higher studies in the department of commerce, financial studies, management & law. The IILM programme is also of an equivalent standard to UK based awards and is certified both by the quality Assurance processes of the University of Bradford and externally by the UK Quality Assurance Agency, the QAA”.

Professor Jeff Lucas, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Bradford, delivered the Graduation Address after the outgoing batch received their degrees. Prof. Sarah Dixon, Dean, School of Management, University of Bradford also addressed the gathering. Mrs. Malvika Rai, Chairperson IILM, presented the Dr. Kulwant Rai Gold and Silver medals to the toppers. The participants experienced the tossing of the hat marks with an exuberance of joy and the transition from students to professionals. It was a cherished day for all at IILM, that will be remembered for life.
