    Mumbai : IITs are great place to study. It takes a lot of effort to get into the institute. It is regarded as ‘The New Beginning’ in terms of growth and prosperity. The legends have the ability to change the world with technology. And some said “The science of today is the technology of tomorrow”.

    Let’s get to know some of these gems closely:

    1. Sachin Bansal – Flipkart

    Flipkart is the hot destination of every internet shopaholic. The mastermind behind the idea, one of the first people to establish an e-commerce website in India is Sachin Bansal, an IIT Delhi graduate. This businessman created something of a history in the great Indian internet shopping revolution.

    1. Sameer Gehlaut:

    Sameer Gehlaut, started Indiabulls in 1999, with India’s first online broking platform. In a span of 18 years, he has built it into one of the largest financial services groups in the country, with interests across housing finance, consumer finance and personal wealth. From the very outset, Mr. Gehlaut has shown a strong penchant for business acumen and visionary abilities. Not limiting himself to pioneering in just the stock broking sector, his forays into housing finance and consumer finance too have been defined by industry firsts.Sameer holds a B.Tech degree in in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He is also the Chairman of other major Indiabulls companies: Indiabulls Real Estate Limited and Indiabulls Ventures Limited. Sameer Gehlaut is described by Forbes as “India’s youngest self-made billionaire” in 2008.

    1.  Bhavish Aggarwal – Ola Cabs

    He is the co-founder of Ola cabs which he started from his hometown, Ludhiana. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2008. He worked with Microsoft Research for two years. Ola is India’s largest network of personal transportation and is the most popular app amongst the customers. Bhavish was featured as one of Hindustan Times’ 30 Achievers under 30 as well as in the Forbes India list of 30 under 30.

    1. Sundar Pichai- Google

    He is an engineer and CEO of the technology giant, Google making India proud. He earned his degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering.  Pichai worked in engineering and product management at Applied Materials and in management consulting at McKinsey & Company.
