National: IKEA India has announced the launch of its new collection SAMMANLÄNKAD, a solar-powered table lamp created in collaboration with Little Sun, a social enterprise. The partnership aims to make solar power tangible in beautiful and purposeful design objects. SAMMANLÄNKAD consists of sun-powered LED lamps designed to showcase the potential of solar energy as an alternative source of energy to power everyday objects.

The solar-powered table lamp has a built-in LED light source lasting approximately 25,000 hours and offers a warm white light with a temperature of 2700 Kelvin. The cordless design makes it easy to move around and use anywhere, both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, the lamp has both USB-A and USB-C ports, making it easy to charge other devices. The lamp is approved for use as outdoor lighting with an IP44 rating, ensuring it is safe and suitable for outdoor use.
