  • India’s top security professionals congregate at the III Annual CSO Summit by 9.9 Media

    Uttar Pradesh : CSO Forum, a 9.9 Media initiative in the security domain, has announced The III Annual CSO Summit 2010 to be held on 3-4 December, 2010 at the Westin, Sohna. The event is expected to draw participation from over 100 top security professionals and experts. CSO Forum is the first security platform in India that is community led and community driven which draws on peer engagement and collective wisdom to promote best practices and benchmarks. The forum is led by an advisory council of senior executives from top enterprises in the country.

    This is the third consecutive year for the CSO Summit and the theme of this year’s summit – Security: Finding the right balance, is apt in the changing landscape of corporate business strategy and security becoming an ineluctable priority. The summit will also have the presence of some of the most renowned global experts on security. The keynote address will be delivered by Mr Bruce Schneier, Chief Security Technology Officer, British Telecom. Mr Schneier is widely acknowledged as the global security guru and has authored many path breaking books on security.

    With the aim of enabling Business Risk Leadership, the summit will launch Taking Charge, an innovative business & security simulation game for CSOs. The game includes psychometric analysis, business skills and understanding of security areas, and promises to be an eye opener for the CSOs in helping them transform into enabler of business. The summit will also deliberate on research based topics covering the range of corporate corridors including Economics of Security, Cloud computing, Cybersecurity, Virtualisation and many more. The III Annual CSO Summit aims at leveraging the cause of security realm in enhancing business growth.
