    Communication Minister Manoj Sinha has said, India Post is committed to provide responsive and convenient citizen-centric services to the people.

    Speaking at a function to mark the World Post Day in New Delhi today, Mr Sinha said, the Department has set up and operationalized 221 Post Office Passport Seva Kendras in partnership with the External Affairs Ministry and processed more than 15 lakh passport appointments so far.

    Giving details about the achievements of the Postal department, he said, over 13 thousand Aadhaar Enrollment and Updation Centres have been set up in partnership with the Unique Identification Authority of India, where more than 21 lakh enrollments and s have been completed.
