    Guwahati: On October 5, a Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army crashed in Tawang area of Arunachal Pradesh. According to preliminary reports, a pilot identified as Lt Col Saurabh Yadav died in the crash. According to reports, an Army Cheetah helicopter flying in a forward area near Tawang crashed during a routine sortie at around 10:00 am on October 05. An Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashed near Tawang area of Arunachal Pradesh today, an official source in the Indian Army said. One pilot was killed in the crash.

    The army official has given this information. At the same time, the rescue team has also reached the spot. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. After getting information about the accident, the rescue team reached the spot, then two seriously injured pilots were pulled out and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. One of the two pilots, Lt Col Saurabh Yadav, died during treatment. The second pilot is undergoing treatment. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. Mp Ram Kripal Yadav tweeted that information has been received about the crash of an Army Cheetah helicopter near Tawang area of Arunachal Pradesh.
