  • Indian economy will bounce back in about a year: AIMO State Council Chairman

    In Karnataka, All India Manufacturing Organization State Council Chairman S. Sampathraman has exuded confidence that industries will overcome challenges and Indian economy will bounce back in about a year.

    Speaking to source  in Bengaluru today, he said that constraints of supply, labour and finance can be overcome through innovativeness. Entertainment, travel, tourism, automobile sector, he noted, are facing demand side problems in the changed circumstances. On the pandemic, he noted that Prime Minister has proved that life is more important than livelihood, by containing the Corona related death rate in the country.

    President of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries C R Janardhana has said that industries in Karnataka have started functioning at 33 per cent capacity and added that he is confident that gradually full fledged operations too will begin. He hoped that companies leaving China will prefer to invest in Karnataka as it offers investor-friendly opportunities.
