New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has landed in Sonipat with its extended campus which will be used for faculty development, incubation and setting up research activities in science & technology. CoHo.in will be partnering to manage the campus and help increase awareness about the incubation centre among its target audience.

Commenting on the new initiative and new campus, Dr. Anil Wali, MD, FITT said, “IIT-D has the second highest number of students but the smallest campus. It was searching for land in NCR as it doesn’t have enough space in Delhi. The campus was much needed to suit the ambitions of the young minds for innovation in technology. With a young start-up like CoHo managing the entire campus, youthfulness, innovation and verve are the expectations from the campus”.

Talking about the partnership Uday Lakkar, CEO, CoHo.in said, “We are excited about the partnership with one of the pioneer institutes like IIT- Delhi. We at CoHo.in believe that this affiliation is the first of the many re-defining moments in the millennial living conditions and together with FITT and CoHo.in, ITEC will be a dream destination for the young innovative millennials.

The extended campus of IIT Delhi at Sonipat in Haryana is an apt destination for having a scientific workshop in a stimulating and serene environment away from the routine humdrum, weekend seminars, academic conferences or even a brain storming session at a place that has a rich academic and innovative resonance or interact with industry partners and departmental colleagues. The campus will gradually emerge as an epicentre of academic and industry fusions. It is aimed to become a platform where people from a broad spectrum of scientific and industrial community can collaborate in multi-disciplinary areas.

With this step, IIT’s FITT, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer – an industrial interface of IIT-D, has laid the foundation for a modern, comfortable and never before facility.

CoHo.in, a tech start-up, caters to the millennial generation’s affordable housing needs across the student housing and young professionals’ segments in Delhi NCR. CoHo.in is pioneering the co-living industry with 2000+ residents across Delhi NCR.  With this collaboration, CoHo.in has forayed into a unique space in co-living and they look to manage, host and provide a superior experience in the variety of events and workshops and be a part of the scientific and industrial growth in the campus.
