Indian-origin scientist develops wire less pacemaker

An Indian origin US scientist Vivek Reddy has developed the world’s first wire less pacemaker which is ten times smaller than the traditional pacemaker. The instrument has shown good results conducted on 32 patients. More than 40 lakh patients are having pacemakers the world over today with an addition of seven lakh new patients every year. Vivek Reddy who is Director at Mount Sinnai hospital in the United States said the new pacemaker works better than the traditional pacemaker.
